Llandudno Pier to Colwyn Bay Pier for Breakthrough T1D
The St Joseph's Faith in Action youth group will be doing a sponsored pier to pier walk with their friends and families on the 7th of June to raise money for the Type 1 Diabetes charity Breakthrough T1D.
We decided to support this charity because one of our members was recently
diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
With your support and your generous donations, we can fund Breakthrough T1D's important work. Here are just a few examples of what your money can do:
- £10 could pay for the equipment a research nurse needs to collect a blood sample.
- £20 could provide an information pack to an adult or child, helping them to get to grips with their diagnosis.
- £40 could help a researcher develop new treatments that could change the lives of all of those with Type 1 Diabetes.
- £100 could help us fund vital research into growing new beta cells that could lead to the cure we all long for.
