400,000 people currently live with type 1 diabetes in the UK and I want to play my part in changing that.
I’m joining Team JDRF for Climb 1 For Type 1: Ben Nevis on Saturday 17 th August. I’ll be hiking knowing I'm helping make a difference to the lives of people living with type 1.
JDRF UK fund world-class research that one day will cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes and its complications. JDRF also support the type 1 community and campaign for broader access to life-changing treatments. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.
