Walk With Us to Make T1D History
On Thursday 14 May, RBC UK will be coming together for a meaningful walk to raise funds for Breakthrough T1D, as part of the wider RBC Enterprise initiative to raise over $1CA million for this life‑changing cause.
For nearly a decade, RBC Enterprise has proudly stood alongside Breakthrough T1D, the world’s largest non-profit funder of type 1 diabetes research. Together, we’ve helped drive advancements that bring us closer to a world without type 1 diabetes—and now, we’re taking the next step.
How You Can Support
If you’re joining the RBC Urban Art Walk, we’re asking for a minimum suggested donation of £25 to help fuel vital research and support for people living with type 1 diabetes.
Can’t attend but still want to make a difference? Every contribution counts and every pound creates real impact:
- £11 provides a newly diagnosed child with Rufus, a comforting plush friend who also “has” type 1 diabetes. With felt patches showing injection and testing sites, Rufus helps children feel understood, supported, and less alone.
- £25 funds one hour of research nurse support for clinical trial participants—work that is absolutely essential to advancing breakthrough treatments and prevention.
Let’s make type 1 diabetes part of history.
