About One Walk Leeds

We are so excited to bring One Walk back to Leeds! One Walk is the celebration of the T1D community, coming together to raise awareness and vital funds to help change lives of everyone affected by type 1 diabetes.
With a jam-packed event village and the choice of a 5km or 10km walk, there is something for everyone!

Fundraising tips and support

Event Information

There will be lots to do at One Walk Leeds before you set off on your walk, from talking to exhibitors, getting your face painted to warming up ready to go! So make sure you get there with enough time to enjoy the atmosphere.

Event Day Schedule:

10:00am Event village opens

11:00am Warmup & opening ceremonies

11:30am Walk starts

Please arrive at the event village with enough time to check-in and enjoy the event day activities.

After the walk stay to celebrate your achievements and enjoy the event activities. The event will conclude at 2pm.

Make every penny count

We ask that everyone taking part in One Walk Leeds raises as much as they can for Breakthrough T1D. With your support, we are creating a movement to improve and change life with T1D, advancing breakthroughs on the way to cure the condition. When you sign up, a fundraising page will automatically be set up for you. Follow our tips below to help reach your fundraising target.

Set a fundraising target. We recommend a target of £150, which you can increase if you reach your target early.
Personalise your page. Share your story and why you are taking part in One Walk Leeds and fundraising for Breakthrough T1D.
Share the link to your fundraising page with friends, family, and colleagues on WhatsApp, email and/or on your social media channels.

Raise £150 or more and you will be entered into the One Walk Leeds fundraiser prize draw.
