One Walk London

We're stronger together

I’m taking part in One Walk London to help raise money to fund life-changing research and make a difference to the lives of people affected by type 1!

Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

This is where you come in. With your support and your generous donations, we can fund Breakthrough T1D’s important work.

Just £20 could help towards the next big T1D breakthrough.

Whatever you can donate, it is really appreciated - Thank you!

My Updates

Kalle’s and Eva-Lill Niklasson

Tuesday 26th May
Kalle was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes when he was just two years old.  This was incredibly young to receive such a diagnosis, changing his life.  Since then he has shown extraordinary courage and resilience.

His six year old sister has grown up with her older brother dealing with this life changing condition. Hugging him when he’s felt down and cheering him on.

Kalle and Eva-Lill are now looking to give back by undertaking their first sponsored event.

Breakthrough T1D are the UK’s only charity focused on Type 1 Diabetes, a condition which can strike at any age but usually when a person is young and is already managing all the stresses and challenges of childhood.

Any support for them is kindly welcomed.

Many thanks from Kalle and Eva-Lill.

Thank you to my Sponsors

A great challenge, and a worthy cause as it’s a rubbish condition to have to content with. Good luck!
