Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

Seren’s Diagnosis
Sunday 19th Apr Seren was diagnosed just 7 months ago and what a 7 months it has been. In the whirlwind of learning how to navigate not only the medical care our daughter would need, but the emotional impact a lifetime diagnosis can have on the whole family, Stockport’s paediatric diabetic team have been the one constant. The support we have had from them has been nothing short of amazing! From personal visits to the house when insulin pens have failed us to the regular phone calls to talk through things. We also want to celebrate how amazing our 8 year old just 4 days after her birthday, has dealt with it all and taken it, mostly, in her stride demonstrating such resilience.
