Amelie is taking part in One Walk London to help raise money to fund life-changing research and medical trials to help find a cure for Type 1 Diabetes.
Almost two years ago, aged just 5, Amelie was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes, completely out of the blue. Her life now revolves around 24/7 management of this disease to keep her healthy and alive. Type 1 Diabetes has no cure, yet, but we are hopeful with new breakthroughs, technology and medical trials, that a cure for this awful disease will be found in her lifetime.
Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research & supports families living with Type 1 Diabetes. They provide support for families like ours. They collaborate with some of the best researchers in the world to help us find a permanent cure for this Type 1 Diabetes.
