Myself, my husband and my 3 kids are taking part in One Walk Edinburgh to help raise money to fund life-changing research and make a difference to the lives of people affected by type 1!
This charity is very important to us as our little nephew was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes at a very young age.
Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.
