10km for 10 years
It's been 10 years since I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes at the age of 5, so this year I thought I'd walk 10km and raise some money for Breakthrough T1D.
I'm walking with fellow T1 Jack and we've persuaded Jack's brother Callum, Eliot, Lucas M & Lucas O to walk with us. They've been my friends since before I was diagnosed and have long been immune to the alarming of my CGM! Lucas M is well aware of the effects of Type 1 Diabetes as his Dad was diagnosed as a teenager.
