Celebrating our beautiful Mia and her journey with T1D
On 26th April 2022, our lives were turned upside down when our youngest daughter, Mia, was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes.
In the last four years, our beautiful Mia has shown more bravery and courage than I could imagine. Even on the hard days, she manages her condition with tenacity and she is forever an inspiration to her family and friends, who are so proud of her.
We’re taking part in One Walk London to celebrate Mia and to help raise money to fund life-changing research and make a difference to the lives of people affected by type 1!
Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.
