One Walk London

We're stronger together

A few years ago, I was diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It was a steep learning curve to get from there to where I am now and I am actually doing really well. I'm lucky; many people with T1D are in a tough fight. Research into prevention and management is vital and that is why I’m taking part in One Walk London.

Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

With your support and your generous donations, we can fund Breakthrough T1D’s important work.

Whatever you can donate, it is really appreciated - Thank you!

Trampolining for the weekend

Monday 15th Jun
Aurelia has gone from crutches and a boot to trampolines and netball! Totally ready for the weekend!!!!!

Aurelia is on the mend!

Wednesday 27th May
Having sprained her ankle playing netball, Aurelia then attended her action-packed birthday trip to Brighton on crutches and wearing a support boot (Thanks to the amazing NHS staff at The Whittington for sorting her out!).

We are pleased to say she is on the mend and getting geared up for the London walk.

Thank you to my Sponsors

Jeremy, you have come such a long way on your diabetes journey, it’s been miraculous,, and you’re going to crush another 5k this Saturday! Sending you and Aurelia lots of love for a beautiful walk. We truly hope that funding this vital research can help support those with T1 now and ultimately find breakthroughs which transform how we deal with it. Have a brilliant time! Love from Naomi and Ted xx".
