We're stronger together
So.....as most of you are probably aware, Ruby was diagnosed with T1D back at the beginning of February. It was a huge shock and has and still is a massive roller coaster for us all, and a new way of life but we're learning together and she's absolutely smashing it💙
Ruby thought she might like to do this walk when we saw it advertised online, so we're doing it, and joining us is our lovely friend Hannah (who i couldn't have got through the last few weeks without)! These charities are amazing and deserve all the support possible
We're taking part in One Walk Manchester to help raise money to fund life-changing research and make a difference to the lives of people affected by type 1!
Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

Monday 27th Apr Ruby has taken these last few months totally in her stride, she amazes me everyday with her can do attitude and resilience and always finds a positive even when shes struggling. For her to want to do this, and help others so early on in her own diagnosis, just pays testament to the strong, brave girl that she is and I couldn't be prouder of my T1D warrior!
