Tuesday 5th MayBack in February, our beautiful granddaughter Nuala was suddenly taken very poorly and diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes. It was an incredibly frightening time for all of us, and overnight, her parents were thrown into a completely new world of carb counting, finger pricks, and insulin management—just to keep their little girl safe and well.
Despite how overwhelming it all felt, Nuala has adapted so bravely, and her mummy and daddy have taken everything in their stride. They’ve learned so much in such a short time and somehow make something so complex look effortless, all so she can live her happiest, healthiest life.
We’re raising money to support vital, life-saving research into Type 1 Diabetes. If you’re able to spare even a pound or two, it would mean so much to us. And if donating isn’t possible, simply sharing this post can make a real difference too.
