Megan's Diagnosis

Saturday 2nd May
Megan was diagnosed with type one diabetes when she was three years old.

Now, 21 years later, Megan has access to an amazing team of clinicians and technology, such as closed-loop systems, to manage her condition. None of this would have been possible without support from the NHS and organisations funding research into improving the treatment of the condition.

Megan wishes not only for a cure, but also for prevention, so no one has to experience diabetes.
