Me and my dad Paul are on a mission, to walk 10k and raise money for JDRF's Life changing work. As you probably know, I have had diabetes since I was 9 months old. My dad has also had type one for 25 years. We want a cure for us, and all of the children (and adults!) that will come after us. We want a world where we can eat ice-cream and sweets without a care. We want a world without daily finger-pricks and injections. We want a world without type one. 

We are taking part in JDRF's one walk on the 22nd June, a 10k walk around London with hundreds of other diabetics. We are looking for sponsorship, to help raise funds for the JDRF - the largest charity dedicated to t1 diabetes in the uk. Here are some of the ways your money could help.

Every £10 could help run a research laboratory for 10 minutes - bringing us 10 minutes closer to finding a cure for type 1 diabetes.

Every £25 could pay for an hour of research nurse support for someone involved in a clinical trial, which could ultimately lead to the next big breakthrough. Without this support, there would be no trial.

Every £50 could enable a scientist to use lasers for two hours, allowing them to study the immune cells at the heart of type 1, monitoring the success of clinical trials and further improving knowledge into type 1.
