Aberdeen

Join us on Sunday 7 September at the beautiful Deeside Activity Park for a meaningful and fun-filled family day out in support of type 1 diabetes research.

Take on a fully accessible 5K or 10K route through the beautiful Aberdeenshire countryside, then relax and enjoy an event village packed with local flavour and family-friendly fun.

A group of four go-kart racers on a sunny day are lined up beside red and white barriers. A man kneels, assisting the front racer with helmet number 3.

What’s happening on the day:

  • Go-Kart Grand Prix – £20 time trials + finale race
  • Kids’ mountain bike sessions with RIPA
  • Music, games, and face painting
  • Locally sourced breakfast rolls & Louise’s hog roast

Whether you live with it yourself or support someone who does, come meet others who understand life with type 1 diabetes (T1D).

It’s a chance to connect, celebrate, and take steps towards a world without T1D.

Your registration includes

  • An exclusive 2025 One Walk finisher medal
  • Access to our event village with face painting, music, and more

Fundraising  Goal
We ask each participant to aim for £100. This can provide Rufus, the bear with T1D, to 10 newly diagnosed children, offering comfort and hope when it matters most.

Walk with us, raise lifesaving funds and help change lives.

Whether you’re walking for yourself, a loved one or simply to make a difference, every step helps bring us closer to a cure for T1D.
