Alex training with me for Yorkshire Three Peaks, 9 mils in 2hr 39 mins..400,000 people currently live with type 1 diabetes in the UK and we want to play our part in changing that, supporting 2 walkers in our Team who live with T1 and a family member.
We're joining Team Breakthrough T1D for Breakthrough T1D Trek : Yorkshire three Peaks on Saturday 18th April. We’ll be hiking knowing we're helping make a difference to the lives of people living with type 1.
Breakthrough T1D fund world-class research that one day will cure, treat and prevent type 1 diabetes and its complications. Breakthrough T1D also support the type 1 community and campaign for broader access to life-changing treatments. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.
