Lexi is celebrating turning 3 and a half on 1st June 2025 by walking to raise funds for Breakthrough type 1 diabetes.We are all so very grateful for all the treatment and support Lexi (and her family) have received from the charity and the wonderful NHS diabetes team at RHCYP, and hope our fundraising efforts help Lexi and other type1warriors!
We are taking part in One Walk Falkirk to help raise money to fund life-changing research and make a difference to the lives of people affected by type 1!
Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

Wednesday 9th Apr Lexi taking advantage of the spring sunshine in aviemore to start her walk training!! 2km yesterday through the secret woods then 3.7km today spotting polar bears & macaques!
