I’m taking part in One Walk Falkirk to help raise money to fund life-changing research and make a difference to the lives of people affected by type 1!

Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

Hello everyone, 

For those of you who may not know, I was diagnosed with type 1 diabetes in 2021. It has been a journey full of challenges, but I’ve learned just how important support, research, and awareness are in managing this condition. This year, Abby and I are taking part in a **10km charity walk** to raise funds for an incredible organization dedicated to improving the lives of those affected by diabetes.  

Every step we take will help fund vital research, provide essential resources, and bring us closer to beating this illness for good. We would love your support—whether that’s through donations, sharing our cause, or simply cheering us on. Together, we can make a real difference and bring hope to so many.  

Let’s walk towards a future without diabetes!
