Breakthrough T1D funds world-class research, supports the T1D community and campaigns for broader NHS provision of treatments and technologies. Their collaborations with the best researchers in the world have led to new developments in diabetes technology and treatment.

Oscar’s story….

In July 2023 Oscar was visiting the toilet more regularly/drinking lot's and I thought he had a possible urine infection, a quick trip up to the doctors and the high sugars presented and we was rushed straight up to hospital where further tests continued and Oscar was diagnosed on 13/07/2023, where we stayed for a week.

Last year I took on the swim 22 challenge, so this year we have decided to take on the one walk challenge so all 3 of us can take part.

This is to support Oscar and any others who go through the daily challenges type 1 diabetes brings.
